Waking up in the morning can be a vital spiritual experience. It can be a reminder of that “great gettin’ up morning” when the the Lord will appear and will raise me from my grave to live with Him forever. Thus, as I rise from bed every morning may I visualize my rising from the tomb at the coming of my Lord and going up to meet Him in the clouds. I rise every morning to meet Him, if not in the clouds, certainly in the experiences and events of the day, to walk with Him, talk with Him, love, obey and serve Him in all that I do that day. When Jesus appeared to His disciples after the Resurrection, He said, “Come, let have breakfast” (John 21).
